Robotics Hardware Engineer
Useful skills for the position
- Experience with electronic connections and their wiring .
- Strong knowledge of managing stepper motors and their drivers.
- Basic understanding of Raspberry Pi and using GPIO pins for device interfacing.
- Ability to read and understand electrical diagrams.
- Previous experience with hands-on construction will be considered an advantage.
Responsibilities
- Component Wiring: Connecting and configuring the drivers, the stepper motors and Raspberry Pi.
- Installation and management of electronic and mechanical systems for the automated movement of the radio telescope.
- Ensuring the proper functioning of the systems through testing and troubleshooting.
